Gretel is a 2 1/2 year old Black and Tan German Shepherd I raised out of my Apache and Cherokee with high hopes to have her become a mother to puppies one day, but she flat out refuses to breed to her mate.
I am going to have to sell her as much as it is going to be one of the most difficult decisions I've ever had to make regarding my dogs.
This is not an easy thing to do, trust me. Something all breeders dread if a female refuses to breed.
I will be fussy about who buys her. She would not do well at all in an apartment or in town. She is used to the country with lots of room and other dogs to play with. She gets along great with other dogs, kids, and adults. VERY loving and affectionate.
I couldn't ask for a sweeter disposition in a German Shepherd. I am heart broke to not be able to get babies out of such a sweet girl, but unfortunately this is part of the business I have to accept when this happens.
