Welder - Foreman Direct Hire - (Rochester) in Rochester, New York For Sale

We are a recruiting for a Welder Foreman to manage projects throughout the Northeast and Southern States. Our client is a very busy and growing company and are seeking to hire a Foreman to oversee and provide hands on support with the installation of automation equipment in plants throughout the Northeast and Carolina's. We seek minimum 3-4 years plus experience in welding - Tig welding, preferably and stainless steel and sanitary welding / pipefitting. Anyone who has perform welding in food, beverage, medical industry or pharmaceutical industries is ideal. Job Summary: Welder Foreman will oversee and Manage Welders and Pipefitters at each project worksite. Work with engineering in initial job set up and manage project materials. Interface with customer to insure a seamless installation with minimal plant interruptions. Work with installers and welders to ensure proper procedures are being followed and quality is of the highest standards. Desired Requirements: Foreman will have 4 years plus experience with process equipment installation, and managing multiple teams of installers on projects with a proven track record of successful completion of jobs and interfacing with administration to properly track job progress. 4 plus years’ experience in the sanitary pipe/tubing fitting trade. The ability to read process piping drawings and experience with layout of piping. Solid Knowledge of carbon, stainless steel pipe and sanitary tube fitting techniques. TIG Sanitary purge welding & Carbon steel pipe welding. Strong work ethic and attention to detail a must. Willing to travel and manage local and out of state projects for extended stays on job sites. Foreman will be responsible for company supplied vehicle and all tools assigned to his crews. Welder Foreman will have knowledge of Carbon Steel welding Good with math, measure and fit abilities. Welder must be able to read and interpret process flow schematics and fabrication drawings Must have experience with installing piping/process systems in an industrial setting, with welding experience in sanitary work environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail a must. Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA training is very helpful Welder must have ability to travel 50% travel of the work time. Must be willing and able to work holidays, weekends or extended hours as needed for shutdowns. Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record. Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Any Experience with knowledge of USDA & PMO is a real plus. Excellent pay and benefits offered Foreman will be compensated commensurate with experience level.
